VISITS TO MUSEUMS AND GALLERIES

The academy organises visits to the different museums and galleries in the city, and to the most important exhibitions.

EXCURSIONS

Every Sunday, a trip is organised, with a coach bus reserved for the students of the academy, to a different art cities in Tuscany or in another places in Italy.  From April to October, are organised excursions to the Chianti.

EXHIBITIONS

Student exhibitions will be held in the gallery of the school with invited local Florentine artists and critics attending.

ITALIAN LESSONS

For students interested in Italian language lessons, AD’A collaborates with the Michelangelo Institute, renowned school and with long experience in teaching Italian language. The Italian courses are offered in six progressive levels (Beginners’ to Top Level). Each level lasts 4 weeks. Classes are held daily, from Monday to Friday, totalling twenty hours per week (eighty hours a month).

The Italian lessons follow the same calendar as the arts courses.

ACCOMODATION IN FLORENCE

There are a number of possibilities to choose from, such as: apartments, sharing with other students, individual apartments, hotels or pension.  With this variety of choices, we hope to extend to the student a comfortable and tranquil stay in Florence.

INFO DESK

Center for information to keep students informed of events and happenings in the city, including exhibitions, concerts, plays and shows.

EMERGENCY NUMBER

24 hours a day, holidays and weekends included, students have an emergency number at their disposal. This permits immediate contact with a staff member of the institute.

STUDENT IDENTIFICATION CARD

At the beginning of their course students receive an identification card. This allows them to obtain discounts in the different art shops of the city, museums tickets, and public transport.

INTERNET

The school offers, free of charge, connection to internet for all the students.

Lodging

Accommodation in Florence

For students that required accommodation, the academy offers a housing service. Different possibilities are available to assure a comfortable and pleasant accommodation during the students’ stay.

STUDENT APARTMENT (4 WEEKS)

In a single room:  from 475 Euro to 525 Euro

In a double room: from 375 Euro to 425 Euro

INDIVIDUAL APARTMENT (4 WEEKS)

From 900 Euro to 1200 Euro

HOTEL (A DAY)

in a single room with bathroom, breakfast included:  from 70 Euro to 90 Euro
